About Melissa

I am a clinical social worker who provides individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.  My aim is to offer a supportive environment where individuals can gain a greater sense of self-awareness, develop insight into difficult relational patterns, and learn coping skills to manage intense feelings and emotions.

My experiences in residential, home- and school-based, and outpatients settings have given me an inclusive perspective on clinical care.   In treatment sessions, I integrate evidence-based and traditional therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Relational, Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Strength-based Therapies.

I received my Masters degree in Social Worker from Simmons School of Social Work and additional specialized training in the treatment of anxiety, depression, conduct disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder through Harvard University and Judge Baker Children's Center.
